        Verdict

        Sorbiesharry can take this race at the expense of Danelor and Boppys Pride. Sorbiesharry is very much at the veteran stage of his career but he ran an eyecatcher at the track last time out and should be capable of another bold display this week in spite of being a couple of pounds out of the handicap. Danelor ran no sort of race over hurdles on New Years' Eve. He has exhibited his better form in the past on this surface. Boppys Pride is dropped in trip this afternoon. The market is watched accordingly. Granary Girl has now dropped to a helpful mark and makes her first visit to Southwell for almost three years. Chiff Chaff hails from a yard sending out the odd winner. Starcross Maid has course winning form over further. Mi Odds may find this a little on the sharp side. Don Pasquale is inconsistent. Sorbiesharry has a little to do at these weights but this is a poor race and he looks the percentage call.
