        Verdict

        This is quite a trappy handicap and the leading lights look to be Padre Nostro, Bold Phoenix and Experimental and the vote is given to Padre Nostro. The selection won well here last time when beating Boppys Dancer and with slight step-up in trip very much in his favour he should be capable of getting his head in front again. Bold Phoenix does have ability but he is difficult to catch right and his chance will depend on whether he sees out this trip as he is never been tried over this far before. Experimental ran well enough over this course and distance last time but this race is more competitive and he will need to step-up on that effort to make the frame today. Romil Star may prove best of the remainder but for the winner we will stick with Padre Nostro.
