Verdict

Another claimer that looks a match on paper and in spite of being worse off at these weights than if this were a handicap we will take LA ESTRELLA to take the prize from St Savarin. The latter enjoys it here with a couple of wins over slightly shorter to his name, but the latter came over a year ago now and he is now 8lbs lower. On official BHA ratings he looks to be 7lbs well in with the selection, and while he may be good enough to win our main reason for opposing is his ordinary recent form. Conversely La Estrella has run up a hat-trick with two wins here seperated by success at Wolverhampton, and all three have come in this grade. This trip suits and he could have hardly won more easily last time, so we are happy to take him to make it four on the trot. Force Tradition represents a yard whose runners are going pretty well and he is pitched in at this level for the first time, which should see him to better effect and as one who is lightly raced he might be able to show up well. My Mirasol looks next best but has not won away from Wolverhampton, and we will take them all on here with her stable companion La Estrella.
