      Verdict

The ultra consistent Ei Ei can be very hard to catch on his day and he is worth playing with as a saver option in what is quite a competitive heat. The unexposed Forum Chris and Sky Warrior are others to consider as shortlist material and, along with Joshua's Bay, should not be too far away at the finish. But Ei Ei's run in the Paddy power Chase last month is head and shoulders above anything else on offer and he will be tough to deal with if he shows the same relish as he reverts to hurdles again. He does have a lot of weight to carry in the context of this race though and will need to be kept up to his work all the way to the finish. Therefore a further interest in Forum Chris is recommended as Sue Smith's charge is a strong galloper, who will not go down without a fight. In summary then, a split stakes interst in EI EI and Forum Chris is advised at the best prices available before the race.
