It's difficult to have much confidence in any of these. General Tufto looks one to swerve after a string of placed efforts though he has the beating of Habeshia on last month's running here. Pim Street has failed to figure since winning at Wolverhampton in November and Thirsk winner Throwing Roses hasn't raced since September. ALHABAN was rated 7lb higher at this time last season and is getting steadily closer. He looks set to strike soon and gets a speculative vote.
