        Verdict

        This is a very tricky finale and it is not with great confidence that Beamsley Beacon is chosen to beat Bahamian Bay and He's a Rocket. The Michael Dodds trained four-year-old had been knocking on the door for sometime before finally landing a modest event over course and distance last time. He just got the better of He's A Rocket, who followed up next time. So the form is pretty solid and Beamsley Beacon at the weights should again just have the measure of Karl Burke's runner. Bahamian Boy will be a major threat to all following a comfortable victory over Levelled here last month. That was his first sign of any worthwhile form and there may be more to come. Best of the others could be Vlasta Weiner, but now that Beamsley Beacon has found out how to win he could run up a sequence.
