Quite a competitive race for the grade and plenty hold chances on the best of their form. Mizhar, Repeat and Feast Of Romance all have to be feared at this level and are all worthy of consideration. However, Karl Burke does extremely well in races of this nature and Inchcoonan is given a narrow vote of confidence today. The Emperor Jones mare has dropped to a handy mark despite running well in defeat of late and arrives here with some valuable course experience to her name. This race also marks an ease in grade for Inchcoonan and, with a lack of an obvious pacemaker in the field, she might just find the race unfolding to suit her style of running. The only caveat is that she can be a little edgy in the preliminaries so a late play is advised to assure that she is settled well enough to do herself justice. Mizhar could be the one to capitalise if the selection boils over again before entering the stalls.
