Cockney Boy will be fancied to put one on the board here for Mike Appleby as he was third in a maiden over course and distance last time and has slipped down the weights a little. But JENNIES GEM wasn’t beaten far over 7f here in August and was then a close-up fourth at Newcastle. That was only a Class 7 event but he may be improving. Gordon Elliott has sent Jock Talk over from Ireland in search of a first win. He was only beaten half-a-length at Dundalk two runs ago but disappointed when favourite at the same track last time. Breaking Free would have a chance but is fully exposed.
