It’s more than a year since Thunderbell made her debut at Newcastle so she’s probably best watched, though this is a poor contest. Ladies First ran well on debut at Wolverhampton but that was over a much longer trip. Holiday Girl has never finished out of the frame in six runs on Turf but she’s yet to place on the all-weather. ROMANTIC STORY cost 50,000gns as a yearling and she has a nice pedigree. The only newcomer in this, it would no surprise to see Bob Cowell’s filly start off with a win.
