    Verdict

We'll take a chance on Power Glory here ahead of Giunchiglio, Finnegans Rainbow and River Of Diamonds. A repeat of Power Glory's Beverley win in September would give him a good chance here, although he has not raced on this surface. Rood Boy has shown enough over hurdles of late to suggest he might show up on his first try at this trip on the Flat. Giunchiglio has a big chance based on the best of his form of the last year, while Queenstown was winning here over a mile in April and would have a chance if extending that to this trip. A repeat of River Of Diamonds August Brighton would give him a shout, while Staff Nurse improved last time in first-time blinkers. Surdoue at least knows how to win a race, while the best of Guadiana's form in a light career and can't be ruled out in a weak affair. Finnegans Rainbow's recent efforts, including over course and distance make him a player too. All in all, though, we will take a chance on Power Glory.
