The second division of the claimer features the likely favourite, Supreme Salutation. The six-year-old used to race in some very decent company on the all-weather but has lately been dropped in class. He finally ended a frustrating run by scoring in selling company at Wolverhampton last time but this represents a step up into unchartered territory and stamina has to be doubt. The ex-Irish Crusoe has looked distinctly average both over hurdles and on the Flat, however this is a dire race in which he could easily figure. Another thoroughly exposed type is Tishomingo who is difficult to get excited about while Property Zone has been struggling over hurdles and fences but on the best of his dirt form could easily go well at a big price. In a contest where it is difficult to find positives about any of the runners it may pay to give Spanish Star a chance. The tentative TEAMtalk selection is out of form but has been racing over an inadequate trip. At his best he would hack up over this ideal course and distance and after a couple of recent runs he is worth another go.
