      Verdict

INSIDE TRACK comes out best of those with a rating and has won over course and distance, so he gets the vote ahead of Set Back and Golden Tiger. Our selection has an official rating of 75 and lost little in defeat last time, shaping as though this drop back to seven furlongs would represent a positive step. He's won both starts over course and distance and, as Tony Culhane was aboard on each occasion, he arrives here with the most convincing profile. That said, there are a few with claims in a competitive race, perhaps lead by the unexposed pair of Set Back and Golden Tiger. The former won well on his course debut last time, shaping as though a further furlong wouldn't go amiss, whilst Golden Tiger was a slightly disappointing favourite whilst still displaying some promise. It'd be no surprise were either to take this race and they rate more interesting than Eight Hours whose form in victory last time looks questionable. Both of Tealing's wins have come under today's conditions but he's surely not as good as the handicapper says right now, whilst Captain Bluebird was tailed off last time and is no good thing to improve for the switch in surface. Cardiff Boy is a fascinating newcomer for a strong yard and should act on the surface, so a market check is clearly required, but at this stage we will side with the solid credentials of Inside Track who can make it three from three over course and distance.
