None of these inspire confidence, but DAY STAR LAD has been placed in his last three starts at this track and may be good enough in this company. Collateral form taken from his recent third over track and trip gives him the beating of Tortoise, who suffered a narrow defeat at Kempton last time. Application has plenty to find with the selection and Vosne Romanee may prove a bigger threat having finished a bit closer when fifth over 7f here in November. Deano's Devil has yet to get involved but Previous Acclaim has tumbled down the weights in a relatively short space of time and may do better stepping up in trip.
