        Verdict

        Hot Stock was beaten only a short-head here in December though hasn't threatened in a couple of subsequent starts including back at this venue. It could pay to take a chance on one of the less exposed types handling the Fibresand as Jaeger Train has been placed in both starts on Polytrack and Bretherton has also gone close on his last couple of outings at Lingfield and Wolverhampton. But ROYAL ENCOUNTER is the speculative selection for a yard with a good strike rate here having found only one too good on the Polytrack last time.
