In depth

Verdict

The trio for the shortlist are LUJIANA, Cape Royal and Truly Divine and the vote is given to Lujiana. The selection arrives here looking to complete a course and distance hat-trick. She beat Dickie Le Davoir last month with a bit in hand and in her current mood she looks like one to stay on the right side of. Cape Royal chased home Thoughtsofstardom at Kempton last month and his winless run on the all-weather now stretches to 16. He is running well but he may have to play second fiddle again here today. Truly Divine is another who has yet to win on the all-weather but he did well to chase home Meikle Barfil at Wolverhampton last time despite not having the race run to suit. Godfrey Street would have claims on the pick of his form and he did have a purple patch at this time last year so he could be worth considering at an each-way price. Lujiana is in great form and she can win again.
