      Verdict

      FAREEQ should be capable of defying top weight in a race like this. He’s a consistent sort and only 4lb higher than when comfortably winning a similar contest over track and trip last month. Roy's Legacy has won here but is still 8lb higher and was beaten twice off lower marks on the track in January. Pearl Noir is 0-13 here and hasn’t shown much lately while Indian Tinker hasn’t raced in more than 12 months.
