      Verdict

      Widnes won a lower grade contest over track and trip last month but Paddy A is preferred having scored at this level at Kempton recently and raised only 2lb. Attain failed in a bid for a hat-trick of course and distance wins when only sixth on his latest start and finishing behind runner-up Smiley Bagel. Another bold bid looks assured from the latter but GOLDEN NECTAR (NAP) wasn’t beaten far in third when stepped up to 1m3f at Kempton and she gets the nod dropping down in class with Paddy Bradley’s 5lb claim further helping her cause.
