In depth

Verdict

Bumper winner Blazon has won all three starts in handicaps on the Flat since stepping up to 2m. But he’s been raised a further 5lb and has something to prove on this surface judged on an earlier effort and MIXBOY is preferred. A recent winner over fences, the latter has placed over course and distance in the past and Keith Dalgleish’s charge should go close in his current form. Addicted To You finished third at Kempton recently though ran a shocker on a previous start on the Fibresand but The Resdev Way landed a double over 1m6f here last year and could go well while Gang Warfare has also scored on the Fibresand before but that was back in 2016.
