      Verdict

      LOFTY showed some promise when runner-up over 7f here on last month’s debut. David Barron’s charge led entering the final furlong so this shorter trip should suit and he gets the vote with normal progress. Tease Maid finished ahead of Ollivander at Pontefract last year and is also preferred to the returning Laura's Legacy but the newcomer Inspired Thought is a half-sister to a Listed winning sprinter and could prove more of a threat ahead of the selection's stablemate Martha Mcewan and also Manzon.
