With half the field set to race from out of the weights, READY TO CROWN is hardly over burdened with top weight and is readily preferred over World Of Choice and Present. The last named makes a rare outing on the Flat and is probably pitched at the right level. He won a seller at Yarmouth over this trip in 2007, so ought to have no problems with today's distance. He does lack experience of the fibresand, though. And has a bit to prove on that score. World Of Choice has to be of interest now that he tackles a more appropriate trip. Mick Easterby's gelding is unexposed and is one to seriously monitor in the betting. However, Ready To Crown responded well to the blinkers last time out and, assuming the headgear has the same effect today, the five-year-old can easily outgun this bunch of chancers if he keeps his mind on the task in hand.
