Verdict
This is a last throw of the dice for BOLD ACCOUNT, who gets the nomination ahead of Courageous Nature and Glan Lady. The last named may be better than her form figures spell out so she is one to definitely watch in the betting market. The drop to six furlongs ought not to be a problem for the filly and she is one of the more interesting contenders. Courageous Nature went close to winning at this level on his penultimate start so has to be a considered in a weak contest such as this. Again, he is suited by a truly-run six furlongs and can at least make the frame if he is in tune with Pat Cosgrave's urgings from the saddle. However Bold Account is unexposed on the surface and as he has already proved how effective he can be in this grade, the Karl Burke-trained colt gets the nod on this occasion.
