Verdict
Glory Be is the pick over Lanfredo, Bolckow and Queen Of Diamonds. Glory Be is a maiden after 15 starts, both here and in Italy, but John Spearing's charge showed improvement when fitted with first-time cheekpieces at Bath in August, finishing a three-length second to Guadiana, and after a nice little break, should be ready to run a big race. The year younger Lanfredo has shown marked improvement on each of his last two outings, finishing runner-up twice at Leicester last month. He is another for the short-list along with Bolckow who should be more than good enough to land an all-weather claimer in the winter. Queen Of Diamonds is the other to mention on past form, but Glory Be will do for us.
