A field large in numbers but low in quality goes to post for this claimer and on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning but the principals look to be High Policy, Humdinger and Spa Lane and the confident vote goes to High Policy. The seven year old won a seller in good style last time out when defeating Strictly Speaking and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Humdinger rates the main danger on his handicap win over 12 furlongs but he has yet to conclusively prove that he stays this trip so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Spa Lane is also worthy of respect now he has dropped back to this grade but he has looked a shadow of his former self of late. Of the remainder Ellipop and Lowe Go would have a chance on their best Southwell form but their form here has been very poor so we are happy to side with the in form High Policy.
