A tricky but competitive looking handicap brings an end to this afternoon's racing at Southwell and ROCKET RUBY is put forward to score, with close competition coming from Lady Zena and Future Gem. The selection comes from the yard of Derek Shaw, who are in good heart of late and the filly looks capable of earning her first win for the stable. She has the ability to take such a modest event. Lady Zena looked well on her seasonal debut here last time, she acted well on this surface and should be able to build on that effort. Future Gem was a winner over 5f at Catterick last time. It was a poor race all told though and the form of the filly is questionable. This again though is a fairly modest race and she should be able to make the frame.
