      Verdict

      Katie Gale seems better over further nowadays as when scoring over 2m here in January. That also looks the case for High Command, narrowly beaten over 2m at the track last time but finishing behind third-placed Seasearch over course and distance before that. The latter hasn’t been at his best since scoring here earlier in the year but COUNTRY‘N’WESTERN returns to 1m6f for the first time since December’s victory over track and trip. Robert Eddery’s charge may come good again today. Aphaea has won a point-to-point since last seen on the Flat and Discay last raced in this code in 2016.
