        Verdict

Course and distance winner Atalanta Queen and Cliff Bay were both due to run in the same contest here yesterday. But PORT SOIF finished in front of Luath when a close-up fourth to Atalanta Queen last time and Scott Dixon’s mare gets another chance having won off today’s mark here last term. Capofaro has been winning on the Polytack and carries 6lb extra for last week’s success at Lingfield while the front-running Zorro's Girl has been thereabouts recently without looking like winning. Sunbright makes her handicap debut but finished tailed off in maiden company here on her reappearance.
