Fibresand regular SAMOVAR won twice over course and distance last month and had previous winner Excessable back in third last time. Scott Dixon’s charge looks sure to be bang there at the finish again and is just preferred to Nick Vedder. The latter ran three times over track and trip last month and won on each occasion though this is more competitive while Vandad has been thereabouts on the Polytrack recently looking for that elusive first success. Knowing Glance tumbles further down the weights and debuts on the surface.
