This race will not take much winning and we will side with DREAM IN BLUE to lead them home; the list of dangers is headed by My Mate Mal and Black Falcon. The selection has a decent record at this track and he is eased in grade today. The last time he ran in a seller he got his head in front and he looks to have been found a good opportunity to do so again today. My Mate Mal has yet to win all the all-weather and although he would have claims on his best flat turf form, he has been disappointing on his last two runs and on that basis we will take him on. Black Falcon is a course and distance winner and he won in this grade two starts ago here, so a reproduction of that effort would give him an obvious chance. Jazrawy is a capable performer on his day but he is far from consistent and he is hard to recommend with any level of confidence. Inside Story should be suited by the return to this longer trip so he makes some each-way appeal, but Dream In Blue looks to have plenty in his favour and he gets the pick.
