In depth

Verdict

VALLEYOFTHEDOLLS may have something to fear from Never Lost and Southern Exit but should take all the beating. Alan King has a strong team of mares at his disposal and this daughter of Kings Theatre is deemed capable of opening her account over obstacles at the first time of asking. She was sent off at odds-on on debut and duly landed the odds and wasn't disgraced under a penalty on her only subsequent start. This trip will probably turn out to be a bare minimum for her but she is fancied to get away with it in this company. Southern Exit showed some promise when well beaten behind the same Alan King horse on her first two starts and may not have handled the heavy ground when disappointing last time although the tongue tie she wore then has been left off. Never Lost has shown modest form in three starts in bumpers but could improve enough to make an impression now hurdling with her yard enjoying a fair season. Another Present is probably best of the rest but doesn't make any great appeal and this would appear to be a decent opportunity for Valleyofthedolls.
