      Verdict

      Magic Amour looks the pick in a decent enough selling contest, Resplendent prince and Mount Royale could be the main rivals. The selection hails from Paul Blockley's yard who are amongst the winners at the moment. He finished an excellent third in a banded race over the six furlong trip last time. It was quite a strong contest and as his last victory came over seven furlongs there is obviously no problem with today's distance. Resplendent Prince finished fourth in a much better race than this over course and distance last time and comes out top on official ratings. If he runs up to form he will be a tough nut to crack. Mount Royale has been knocking on the door recently and should give each-way supporters a run for their money. The best of the rest could be Mister Elegant, but our idea of the winner is Magic Amour.
