    DAME ETHEL SMYTH has to be forgiven a poor effort at Windsor last time but was beaten only ahead at Yarmouth before that when finishing in front of Infinitive. The latter looks the main danger to the Gosdens’ filly unless Ring Fenced improves for this shorter trip having finished fourth at Wolverhampton. La Belle Vie looks up against it in this company.
