In depth

Verdict

IFTIKHAAR placed when upped to today’s trip at Wolverhampton and that’s the strongest recent form on offer in a moderate contest. Aztec Empire ran well over 7f at Sandown on his debut but that was over a year ago while stablemate and newcomer Espada is already gelded. Quantum Leap is another to note while Shadowfax has switched to Mick Appleby’s yard and is worth a second glance.
