Verdict
This looks like it could be a race dominated by three horses, LA CAPRIOSA, Madison Belle and Denton Diva. All three have won over course and distance in the past but it is the first mentioned that makes the selection. The filly was a winner here earlier this year and has been in good spirits since. She was a winner at Beverley last time and looks more than capable of following up. The three-year-old has proven to be a reliable performer on the all weather. Madison Belle has been the winner on three occasions already here this year and has been a rather consistent sort. She has preference for the track and should be a big threat to the selection. A rise in the weights hampered her progress last time out and a finish behind the selection looks likely here although she may prove difficult to beat. Denton Diva was a course and distance winner last November. Form since then has been a little inconsistent. She was second behind the selection when last here and a finish behind her again looks to be in the offing. The rest will need to improve on recent form if they are to figure here. Capo Regime has been poor of late but makes his track debut and may appreciate the surface. Our selection goes to La Capriosa.
