    Verdict

    Magic Pulse continued her progress with last month’s course and distance success having won at Chelmsford in November. But she’s been raised a further 8lb and SAMOVAR makes more appeal. Scott Dixon’s charge was caught close home by Cool Spirit, rated 82, in a novice event here a week ago when clear of the rest and a repeat effort should see him go close again. Jasi returns to the Fibresand for the first time since winning on his racecourse debut over track and trip in April last year and is preferred to Mount Victoria of the remaining pair.
