Both Red Ball Of Fire and MULLINS CROSS scored over course and distance on their penultimate outings before failing to follow up next time. Both should appreciate the return to this venue with the latter just preferred in the hands of her promising pilot whose 7lb claim is taken to make the difference. Red Ball Of Fire does represent the main danger after just the four runs over timber and there should be more to come from the McNiff inmate. Kate Ill Know has a perfectly respectable form chance but would appreciate softening of the forecast good ground, whilst Gavin Cromwell's lightly-raced filly, Dawn Wonder, is a likely improver now going handicapping.
