Verdict

Grace To Grace changed stables and started favourite on her debut for Joseph O'Brien at Gowran but didn't impress though she looks capable of better. The stable also run But I Like It, who showed his first sign of form when tackling 1m4f at Leopardstown. ARCLAND was a 33/1 chance for his handicap debut on his reappearance over a mile at Naas but belied his odds with a strong performance, staying on when the race was all over. The longer trip will suit and he's only 1lb higher. Royal Canford didn't get the run of the race over a mile at Killarney and stayed on nicely so she's on the shortlist while The Names Jock was impeded at a crucial stage at Cork after scoring there a couple of weeks earlier. Fujimoto Flyer was heavily supported at Dundalk last month but something was amiss and a line should be drawn through the run.
