Celtic Monarch won on his reappearance last year so an absence since November may not necessarily be a negative. The 10-year-old has run well here in the past and is on a potentially lenient mark so is definitely worth a second look. Shantelle, also a 10-year-old, could figure off bottom weight while Galuppi is on the same mark as when second over a shorter trip here in the spring and appears to be turning a corner again. Duke's Girl has found some consistency but is now 0-19 and needs some help from the handicapper. Tramore third WALKING ON GLASS has a lot more scope considering he won on the Flat in May. Having just his fifth run over timber, he looks the one to beat.
