Oromo has been consistent enough since the spring but has a terrible strike-rate, though ran a decent race on the Flat at Ayr 10 days ago. Ciankyle won this last year and is only 2lb higher. He’s been lightly campaigned this time around and a repeat may have been targeted. Love The Well is 0-16 under Rules but his latest third at Tramore was his best run for a while, though he seems best at that track. JAZZ RANGER was a 33/1 chance here 12 days ago on his first run for new connections but stayed on strongly into second in the closing stages. He can again beat third Mr Moondance and go one better today as Imperial Choice was a beaten favourite off this mark at Tramore last Friday.
