REBEL CRY scored over this trip at Thurles then couldn't quite hold the late thrust of Miss Peacetime over 2m5f at Tramore. He's higher in the weights but Luke Dempsey's claim can see him double his winning tally. Stoughan Cross was six lengths behind but has since produced an even better effort at Tipperary so it will be a surprise if he doesn't get into the shake-up. Emmy Lou found 2m5f stretching her stamina last time and is better than her form figures suggest as is Annakrista, though she ran poorly at Clonmel in February and has been given a break. The lightly-raced Manibus improved dramatically at Cork in March and, with further progress likely, is one to note in the market if he gets a run from his reserve spot.
