Verdict
Palm Sur has done very well in bumpers and though beaten a long way over hurdles in March she was in the lead when stumbling on landing four out and weakened quickly. Via Del Corso had been chasing before a fair run back over hurdles for new connections at Fairyhouse, though she's now had 18 starts over timber without winning. COURT CHALLENGE produced a much-improved performance behind Master Appeal in what looked a strong maiden at Tramore and, with further progress likely, will take some beating. Knocklayde Sno Cat found handicap company and a longer trip too much for her at Ayr but Lucky Buttons was sent to Sedgefield in January and ran well, though the winner has been well beaten since. Winning point-to-pointer Mollyanna has never raced over a trip this short but Silver Sally has some decent form and any further rain would boost her chances.
