LIKE A DIAMOND had been running moderately before a better effort at Wexford then he beat the subsequent winner Feeling The Love at Roscommon, form that would be good enough for this even with an 8lb rise to contend with. Grey Atlantic Way finished third behind the latter at Killarney last month, easily his best run to date, while One Cool Poet showed his first real sign of ability over timber when third at Cartmel and should be capable of better. Atlas has had only four starts over timber but has been running reasonably well on the Flat while Neddyvaughan ran well enough at Ballinrobe to earn respect and he's won over fences around here.
