In depth

Verdict

The veteran FIT THE COVE is in superb shape at present and though up 8lb for Sunday's victory at Galway, can race with a 5lb penalty so looks well in. He loves the testing ground and just gets the nod in a tricky race. Footprint never showed at Galway on Saturday after his earlier success at Leopardstown. He can do better and is expected to be in the firing-line but Dash Back was behind Fit The Cove at the weekend and looks held. The two three-year-olds at the top of the weights look to have plenty to do but don't be surprised by a big run from Patrickswell under a 10lb claimer.
