In depth

Verdict

CHIPS ARE DOWN landed a nursery at the Curragh last month and went to Galway on Saturday for a better class event where he finished runner-up to Cestre Notre Gris. That was over 7f and the slightly shorter trip and less taxing opposition can enable him to return to winning ways. Bedecked has shown potential and makes her handicap debut but Fontana Di Trevi was over four lengths behind the selection on Saturday and, though missing the break badly, she looks to have too much ground to make up. Andy Oliver also runs Youtalktoomuch, who has run quite well in all three starts and makes her nursery debut from a lowly mark.
