Verdict

BACK OFF MATE scored over hurdles in March and will have found the ground much too quick over this trip at the Curragh in June. In a very moderate maiden he may be good enough to see off some disappointing types. Marty's Magic couldn't cope with Marchese Marconi over hurdles at Galway and his best form on the Flat has been over further. Burnt Sienna has had enough chances and was beaten in a claimer here last time while Diamond Daze has now had 33 starts without winning which includes 18 placed efforts. Tobair An Sheeda ran quite well behind Ebadani at Killarney but is better served by further.
