Askari was engaged to run in the 3.30 at Wexford yesterday so that result should be monitored. LORD ERSKINE completed a hat-trick on the Flat in late summer and though showing little in four starts over hurdles should have enough improvement in him to take this. Oakfield Rose has won a bumper and beat a big field in a Thurles handicap over hurdles though the main threat should come from The Last Indian. She has a very similar profile to the selection having landed a hat-trick on the Flat last summer, all on ground with plenty of give, and there should be little between the pair here.
