Verdict

Mon Storm won this in 2019, one of three track victories, while Take A Turn and Pump Road have also been successful here though the former was engaged on the Flat here yesterday. Thousand Tears has won twice over this trip, though an 8lb rise for last month's Killarney victory makes this tougher, while Guido Reni's career strike-rate of 1-28 is off-putting. John McConnell has his horses in good shape and MULLAGHMORE WAVE (NAP) is taken to defy a huge 14lb rise for a very convincing victory at Ballinrobe where she was well supported after showing little in earlier attempts. Jazz Ranger's last success was over 2m though he stays this trip and can get into contention.
