Spring Wine is sure to attract attention in the market but was beaten seven lengths by Thepartysover at Downpatrick and is unlikely to turn the tables despite the revised terms. Macra Na Feirme showed his first sign of ability at Downpatrick in March and will need to continue his progress while Tropical Island has shown the occasional sign of form and has the undoubted advantage of Nina Carberry in the saddle. After beating Takestan at Wexford in July, MOUNT WELCOME didn't reappear until contesting a tough handicap at Cheltenham in December and will appreciate the drop in grade here.
