Verdict

NUDGE made a promising start when staying on at Gowran and may not have been suited by front-running at Leopardstown. This should be her trip and Dermot Weld's filly be difficult to beat. Sword Fighter ran into a live one when beaten 16l into second by Weld's Harzand at Cork as the winner has subsequently landed a Group 3. This pair look to have it between them as April Eighteen was beaten a long way at Leopardstown, Lazio showed nothing in the race where Sword Fighter finished third at Gowran, and Chubi Chekker hasn't shown much in two starts this season.
