Ryan Moore's intended ride Ambitious Dragon may be a doubtful runner after a setback during the week. He beat Glorious Days in last year's renewal but was no match for ABLE FRIEND in a Group 2 trial here last month. The latter also beat Gold-Fun and stablemate Secret Sham on that occasion and John Moore's charge is hard to get past on that evidence. Outside of the locally-trained horses, Japanese Grade 1 winner Fiero beat compatriots Grand Prix Boss and World Ace at Kyoto last time and should go well, but both of the UK raiders will need to up their game. Captain Cat has had a busy year and has a bit to find on collateral form with Trade Storm so David Simcock's Woodbine Mile winner is preferred of that pair.
