Balding Banker was just beaten at Hexham earlier this month but made no show at Kelso next time. Timesawastin had Jukebox Melody behind when scoring over hurdles at Haydock in March last year and showed plenty of promise on his chasing bow at Southwell in May. He can overcome an absence to take the honours here though it would be no surprise to see Knight Pass, lightly-raced in recent years, go well on his chasing debut while King Of The Wolds is another likely to do well over the larger obstacles. See What Happens was placed a couple of times last season and is preferred to winning hurdlers Herdsman and Porgy of the others.
